一、学情分析:
四年级学生已经掌握本单元核心词汇和句型:What time is it? It’s time to do something. 并 有一定的英语基础,课堂表现力较强,喜欢表演,但每组中都有英语表达能力较弱的学生,所以小组合作学习对他们尤为重要,同时,教师适当的课堂指导,也会帮助学生更好的学习。
二、教材分析:
本课内容是PEP四年级下册Unit2 What time is it?Part C Story time. 在本单元学习了时间的表述方法,学生除了复习巩固句型:What time is it?It’s time to get up.以及get up, go to school 等短语以外,还需要通过图片和上下文理解新短语和句子:wake up, wait, April Fool’s Day. I’m late for school.等。
三、学习目标:
1、95%的学生能够在图片的帮助下理解故事内容,复习巩固问答时间及表述某时间应当做某事的句型What time is it? It’s … It’s time to …
2、通过练习,95%的学生能够理解、朗读并表演故事,恰当运用故事的语言,能正确朗读并表演故事。
3、通过阅读,70%的学生能提高阅读能力并能学以致用,读懂同类小故事。 4、通过学习本课,所有学生能了解西方有趣的愚人节文化。
四、评价内容及方式 :
通过提问、小组表演展示等方式检验学生学习目标达成情况。
五、学习重难点:
重点:读懂故事内容,并能表演出来。 难点:sleep、April fool、wake up的发音
六、教学过程:
Step1. Pre-story
1. Sing a song:《What time is it?》
运用身体语言,齐唱歌曲,复习句型: What time is it? It’s…o’clock. It’s time to…
(设计意图:利用孩子喜爱的歌曲做铺垫,用身体语言进行时间的表达,既吸引学生注意力,打消紧张情绪,又与本课内容相关联,起到复习的作用。) 2. Ask and answer:
T: What time does the man go to school? S1: At 8 o’clock a.m.
T: What time does the man go to bed? S2: At 8 o’clock p.m.
(设计意图:利用歌曲中的时间做问答,既考察学生的听力,又复习了本科核心句型。) 3.Free talk:
T:The man go to bed so early, but I am very busy, so I go to bed very late. 运用自然拼读法教读late Show Miss Na’s timetable.
T: Look, I go to bed at 11:30, It’s so late. Go to bed , we also can say: sleep. 运用自然拼读法教读sleep
T: What time do you sleep? Can you make your own timetable? Fill in the blanks and talk about your day.
(设计意图:复习It’s time to…句型,以学生的实际生活为背景引出单词 late、 sleep,在读前free talk环节解决本课难点单词,为本课学习作铺垫,降低学习难度。)
T: Every morning , who wakes you up? Look, my clock wakes me up. What about you?
Ss: My father wakes me up./My mother wakes me up… 运用自然拼读法教读wake up T: What does your mother/father say?
Ss: He/She says: Wake up, it’s to get up/ go to school… T: You should get up early, sleep early, don’t be late for school. 教读late for school
(设计意图:通过学生平时的实际生活状态做free talk,既达到贴近生活创设情境的目的,又引出本课新词wake up,late for school, 为后面的学习做铺垫,降低难度。) Step2. While-story
1. T: But Zoom is very lazy, he always sleep late and get up late, he always late for school. Let’s watch the story and see, this time , is Zoom really late for school?
