Most of us strive for a blessed life, but what does it mean? To me, it means living everyday to the fullest with a positive attitude and a generous heart, no matter what obstaclescomes your way. Blessed can also means enjoying little moments of beauty and peace that may come your way. For example, when I look up at the clear morning sky and feel the gentle wind on my face, I am filled with a sense of blessedness. Just pause and take notice—the sun peeking through the clouds, autumn leaves gently falling to the ground, or the feeling of warmth when drinking a cup of hot coffee. These are little blessings that remind you to be mindful of the positive side of life. Furthermore, blessed implies that you have a blessed group of people in your life—friends and family that love and care for you, and are always ready to listen and lend a helping hand. A blessed life would also involve being
thoughtful about your actions and words, knowing that even the smallest actions can create ripple effects that may affect others in a powerful way. Blessed also means being grateful for what you have –– a kind heart, a peaceful home, and strong relationships –– and putting these blessings to good use. Remember, no matter your circumstances, you have a choice to make: to stay stagnant and negative, or move ahead with strength and confidence. Every day is a chance to turn your dreams into your reality.
No one's blessed life is without highs and lows, but know that whatever life throws at you, you always have the opportunity to view it with a positive attitude. After all, blessedness can be within you anytime and anywhere, you just need to take the time to look for it. Be blessed, and share that blessing with the world.
