Sarah’s talk show（脱口秀）

Jan. 1st

I’m Sarah. I （来自） Australia. I live in Hong Kong now. I’m glad

to be the （电视台记者）of this program(节目). I’ll share something about my life(生活). My home is （紧挨着）the （邮局）. I can send(寄) letters and （明信片）to my pen pal Mike in England. Mike is a student too. He usually goes to school （乘地铁）, sometimes he goes （坐公交车）. But I usually go to school （骑自行车）, sometimes I go to school （走路）. We have different （爱好）, too. I like （拉小提琴） and singing. I want to be a （歌手）one day(将来有一天). However, he likes （骑自行车）, （跳水） and （踢足球）. He wants to be a P. E. teacher in the future (将来). Mike tells me he is going to visit the Great Wall （下周）. He is going to my home too. I’m so excited. He is going （乘火车） first, and then （坐轮船）. We are going to take a trip in the Disney (迪士尼) （主题公园）. We can （乘坐15路车）, get off at the （电影院）, then （直走） for three minutes, （右转） at the （医院）, the theme park is （在左手边）. It’s just near the （科学博物馆）. It’s far from my home. I hope(希望) all is well(一切顺利).

Jan. 8th

Welcome to my talk show. I’m Sarah. Mike （到达） Hong Kong （乘飞机）at last(最后), because it’s fast (快) . He gets to my home by taxi. He says the （交通规则）are a little(有一点) different in China. Drivers always drive （靠左边）in England, but in China, drivers drive （在路右边）. But we all（都）（红灯停）; （绿灯行）and （黄灯等）. Later（后来）, we go to the （超市）with mom.

My mom is a （作家）. She writes （漫画书） at home. She sometimes （教英语） in English Conner (英语角)for Chinese students. My father is an （画家）. He draws the pictures for my mom. They all like （做风筝）and （集邮）. They always （去看电影） on weekends. So I’m in an art family.

Mike says his father is an （工程师） in a car （公司）. He （乘坐公交车去上班） in the morning and （五点三十分回家） in the afternoon. He （晚上看电视）. Then, he （睡

觉） at 9:30. Mike’s mother is an （会计） in a （银行）. She （每天看报）. Mike has a sister Amy. She is an （演员）. She looks very lovely. Her favorite （演员） is Leonardo(里昂那多). She likes shopping in the （鞋店）. Sometimes she goes to a （书店） to （买）some （杂志）about fashion(时尚). She goes to the （宠物店）every 2 months(两个月一次) to make her pet cat more beautiful.

Jan. 15th

Welcome to my talk show. I’m Sarah. Mike and I really have a （忙碌的）day. We go to the theme park （今天上午）. We buy a pair of sunglasses(墨镜) in front of a fruit stand at the （北） gate. But we can’t know the （销售员） very well. I think we （应该） take a （字典）if we go out alone(单独). We take pictures （拍照）with Mickey Mouse(米奇) and Snow White （白雪公主）together at the （南） gate. We want to have lunch in the restaurant at the （东） gate. But I can’t find our money in my bag. We almost look for it everywhere in the theme park. At last, a （清洁工） helps us find it. There is a （图书馆）（在…西边） Disneyland(迪士尼乐园). So we borrowed(借) some science books there (今天下午). Mike takes the plane to his country （今晚）. I want to play with him again soon.

Jan 22nd

Welcome to my talk show. I’m Sarah. It （下雨）today. Do you know （哪里）the rain （来自）? I read The Story of Rain in the science book and know that the rain comes from the (云), and the clouds come from the (水蒸气). The （太阳）（照射） so the water becomes the vapour. The （水滴）in the rain (掉) (向下) ( 进入)the river, lake, (小河), sea and the (土壤) in my garden ( 花园 ). My (小) (植物) （喝） them and grow up（成长） quickly（快地）.

Oh, I almost forget(忘记) to introduce（介绍） the new members in our family. My mother says the pollution (污染)of the new factory is too serious（严重）. We have to (种植) something in our garden. My father buys some

flower ( 种子). And we plant them together. First, we (放) the seeds in the soil. Then, (浇水) them. In several days, some

sprouts (芽) comes out. I visit them every day after school. ( 请) come on, my dear flowers.
