年夜饭的一道菜英语作文
The annual New Year's Eve is coming.
Every family is preparing new year's Eve dinner, and so is my family. Grandma began to get busy early in the morning, while I was watching TV. In the afternoon, my father and mother went home and brought a couplet. I quickly took out scissors and tape to paste the couplet with my father. After pasting the couplet, our whole family gathered together for new year's Eve dinner.
After dinner, my father took me to buy firecrackers. Then my father asked me to go upstairs to get a lighter. I happened to meet a friend upstairs, so we went downstairs to set off firecrackers. When firecrackers sounded, we covered our ears and hid far away, and our little dog "Xiaoxiao" was scared to flee everywhere. After the Spring Festival party, our family set off firecrackers, and then we went home.
