学情分析
本单元的重点是要学习如何使用时间频度副词来询问和回答某人某事的规律。通过本单元的学习,使学生养成良好的学习和生活习惯。我教的这个班自七年级开始实施“分层走班制”教学。通过分层教学,教师根据不同层次的学生重新组织教学内容,确定与其基础相适应又可以达到的教学目标,从而降低了“学困生”的学习难度,满足了“学优生”扩大知识面的需求。
教学内容与分析
(一)教学内容: Section A(2a~2c) (二)教学目标
1. 学会课余时间的活动安排;
2. 掌握表课余时间活动的动词短语; 3. 学习恰当地使用频度副词和短语。 (三)教学重点、难点分析 ①教学重点
B班主要练习和掌握usually,always, sometimes, hardly ever, never等频度副词。 A班掌握频度副词;通过调查和讨论了解usually,always, sometimes, hardly ever, never等频度副词的细微差别,以及次数的表达方法。 ②教学难点
B班准确运用特殊疑问词how often。
A班能辨析时间频度副词usually,always, sometimes, hardly ever, never。 (四)课前准备 ①教学课件 ②磁带和录音机 (五)教学过程
Step 1: Warming up T: Hello, everyone! Ss: Hello, Miss Wang! T: What day is it today? Ss: It’s Tuesday.
T: How do you go to school? Ss: I go to school...
T: How often do you washyour face? Ss: I wash my face twice aday.

和学生一起讨论星期几和每天洗脸几次更贴近学生生活,师生间的距离更近了,使学生在轻松欢快的学习氛围中把注意力集中到课堂上。
Step 2: Presentation
T: What do youlike to do?
S1: I like toplay basketball. T: Do you oftenplay basketball? S1: Yes, I do.
T: How often doyou play basketball?
S1: I playbasketball one time a day. T: So you playbasketball once a day.
Present the new words on the Bb: once, twice, twice a week... Step 3: Listening practicing
Get Ss to read the phrasesin Section A 2a. T: How often do you go tothe movies? S1: I go to the movies twicea week. T: How often do you watchTV? S2: I watch TV every day.
T: You like watching TV verymuch. What about Cheng? Now listen to the tape. First number the activities youhear.
Let Ss listen to the tapeand finish Section A 2a. Then askthem to listen again and finish Section A 2b.
Help Ss to make their ownconversations. S1: How often do you watchTV? S2: I watch TV every day.
S1: What’s your favoriteprogram?
S2: The Animal’s World. Howoften do you watch TV? Help Ss to talk about theirparents.
S1: How often does yourmother go shopping? S2: ...

Ask Ss to write three statements about how often they do differentactivities. For example, I play soccer three times a week; I visit the doctortwice a year; ... Then ask a student to come to the board and list the activities and listthe “how often” statements.
Get the other to make correct statements about the student using one itemfrom each list.
