Ask the Ss to give a free talk. ⅡReview
Listen to the text again, Ss read after the tape, and do some exercises.
Answer the question about the text that we learnt yesterday.
Ⅲ.Teaching procedure B
1. Do the exercise of PartB1.
Ask ss to identify the words in the text first and the use the information in the sentences To help them guess the meaning.
2. Tell them they need to explain the reason for their guesses.
Read out a word and its definition.
3. Explain the context of Part B2.
Ask ss to check the meanings of the words in the box,first. Read and select.
4.Ask ss to read the conversationg in pairs. .
Ⅳ Teaching procedure C&D
1. Read the context for this task and make sure that ss
understand it.
Work out the wrong information in the conversation with a parter.
2. Ask them to underline the mistakes and replace the wrong
words with the correct ones.
3. Select two ss to present the corrected conversation to the
class.
Check the answers with the class after presentations.
4. Read the instructions to the class and ask ss to find the
correct picture on their own. Check the answers as a class.
5. Ask ss if they can think of any other safety advice.
Ask them to find four more instructions around the school ,in the classroom,in the street,at home,etc.,e.g Do not run on the stairs.
