Do you often feel that adults often have a complicated thinking pattern? Can we keep it more simple? In other words, we should keep a childlike heart.
Children are enthusiastic. They’ve not forgotten how to have fun. And they still feel awe and wonder and excitement. It’s a terrible thing when you lose that. To be childlike is to be fun loving, and ready to get lost in the present. It is to be innocent and trusting,
quicker to embrace life and love. To be childlike is to not to be disillusioned by the world or become too cynical about people.
As time goes by, now I have more different understandings of A Childlike Heart. Maybe there is a moment that you are touched by a piece of song, maybe there is a moment that you feel so happy because of your friends’ warm words, maybe there is a moment that you shed your tears for an affecting movie. I think these reactions can show your childlike heart.
I want to keep a childlike heart forever, which is not to be childish, but to be innocent and virtuous.
