Unit 4 At the farm 复习课

一.教材分析

1. PEP Book4 Unit4 At the farm这个单元学习的主题是参观农场,听、说、认读农场动物及蔬菜的单词,运用句型Are these/those...?Yes, they are./ No, they arent.询问各种蔬菜或动物What are these/those? Theyre...来询问并回答各种蔬菜或动物名称。

2.本节课是一节复习课,主要通过引导学生复习,让他们进一步掌握和巩固本单元有关农场蔬菜和动物的单词的听、说、认读。以及通过复习,进一步掌握和巩固本单元What are those/these? Theyre.. Are these/those…? Yes, they are./ No, they arent.等句型的运用。 二.学情分析

本节课是对Unit4主要内容的复习,学生对于动物和食物的话题很感兴趣,通过前期新课的学习学生在一定程度上掌握了本单元所学内容,但是,还是有一部分学生对于个别单词的读音掌握不够准确,再就是一些学生对于What are those/these? Are these/those…?等句型不能准确地运用,希望通过本节复习课,来帮助他们掌握和巩固这些重要的知识。 三.教学目标 1.知识目标:

(1)通过复习,进一步掌握和巩固本单元有关农场蔬菜和动物的单词:carrot, green beans, tomato, potato, cows, sheep, hen, horse

(2)通过复习,进一步掌握和巩固本单元What are those/these? Theyre.. Are these/those…? Yes, they are./ No, they arent.等句型的运用。 2.能力目标:

(1)能够在语境中正确运用本单元的重点单词描述农场蔬菜和动物

(2)通过“参观农场”的小组活动,运用所学句型Are these/those ? Yes, they are. / No, they arent. What are those/these? Theyre等进行对话操练。 3.情感目标:

在日常生活中要注意合理饮食保持健康。懂得爱护动物动物的好朋友。培养学生学习英语的兴趣,学会与他人交流合作。 四.教学重难点

重点:掌握和巩固本单元有关农场蔬菜和动物的单词的听说认读,以及在语

境中的运用。

难点: What are those/these? Theyre.. Are these/those…? Yes, they are./ No, they

arent.等句型在语境中的正确运用。


五.教学过程 Step Warm- up

Greeting and enjoy the song Old Mcdonald had a farm Step Lead-in

1. Invite students to visit the teachers farm. 2. Show the studying aims. Step Presentation

1. Review the words carrot, tomato, potato by guessing riddles 2. Review the word: green beans

(1) Ask Ss to read the word.

(2) Practice the sentencesWhat are those/these? Theyre.. 3. Play a game: Quick response

4. Review the words cow, hen, horse, sheep

(1) Compare the singular and plural forms.

(2) Practice the sentencesWhat are those/these? Theyre..

Are these/those…? Yes, they are./ No, they arent. 5. Play a game: Happy fax

6. Watch the video about the farm and ask Ss to find the important sentences

from the video. 7. Make a chant. Step Practice

1. Group work: Make a dialogue to invite more students to visit the teachers farm.

2. Show time: Ask some groups to show their dialogues. Step Summary Step Practice in class.
