Amy is one of my best friends. She is a Grade 8 student in a mixed school. She has a round face and short straight hair. Her bright and smiling eyes make her look smart.
She has good qualities. She is kind and helpful. She is willing to help others any time. For example, she often helps her classmates with their homework in her spare time. She is also humorous and often tells us funny jokes. We never feel bored when we are together.
She has many hobbies. She is crazy about DIY. She can put in a light and put up a shelf in her bedroom by herself. Also, she is good at playing baseball. She thinks doing sports can help her keep healthy. What’s more, she enjoys travelling. Last week she joined in the school trip to the World Park. There she saw the models of places of interest around the world and enjoyed the singing and dancing shows. She believes she can learn different cultures from it.
She wants to travel around the world when she grows up. She thinks travelling helps her widen her sight (open her eyes) and enrich her knowledge. I hope she will realize her dream in the future.

I want to tell you about my best friend named Kate. Kate is a 15-year-old girl and she studies in Class 2, Grade 9 in No.2 Middle School. She is not only my neighbour but also my good friend.
She has a square face and long straight hair. she likes sports and she is the slimmest girl in her class. Her bright and smiling eyes make her look smart.
She has a lot of good qualities. She is humorous and often tells us funny jokes. She is also generous and likes to share things with others. Besides, she works hard and always gets good grades in Physics and Maths. What’s more, she listens to her classmates’ problems carefully and offers them a lot of help.
She has many hobbies. She likes travelling. She plans to visit Beijing on October 1. She wants to see many places of interest there and learns a lot about Chinese history. She enjoys sports too. After school she practices playing volleyball with her friends twice a week.
Sometimes she is interested in DIY. She loves repairing things and decorating her house. For example, she once painted the wall blue and put in a brighter light in her bedroom.
She wants to be an engineer when she grows up. She hopes to do more things to make the life colorful and meaningful.

Time flies! I spend a whole year studying in Grade 7. At the end of this term, I want to summarize (总结) my school life.
I am very happy that I did something good in Grade 7. I joined different school clubs and had a lot of fun. At weekends, I joined the Helping Hands Club. I did some shopping and cleaned the house for the old in my community. During this year, I made some good friends and we had a good time studying and playing together.
However, I was too careless to get good grades in Maths. This made my parents unhappy. And I seldom spend time doing any exercise, so I wasn’t good at PE and strong enough.
Next year, I will be a Grade 8 student. I can’t believe how fast the time goes by! I will spend enough time exercising to keep healthy. I will join the school basketball team. What’s more, I will study harder and be more careful in Maths. I want to make my parents and teachers proud of me.

My best friend is Peter . He likes goldfish best because he likes watching them swim around every day. He likes staying outside(outdoors). He often takes part in outdoor activities.
He has many good qualities . He thinks carefully when he works. He plans everything well. He learns things quickly and does well in all his subjects. He is also brave. Last week, he helped his neighbour put out a fire. He is kind and helpful. For example, he often helps his classmates with their lessons. Besides, he is a volunteer of the community centre. When he is free, he often helps the old clean their houses and do some shopping for them. What’s more, He often raises money for Project Hope to help children in poor areas .
This is my best friend . I think I should learn something from him .
