这里为什么用the one而不是where 类似的还有: Is this college ______ they went to last year? Is this the university ______ you visited last time?

解题思路如下：



第一步，

这种题要还原成陈述句。

This college is ______ they went to last year. This is the college ______ you visited last time. 第二步：

第一句，is后缺表语，同时they went to last year 这个定语从句缺少先行词，因此要先补先行词。 the one=the college.补出来之后，先行词就是the one了，在从句中作went to的宾语，所以用关系代词，省略了。

第二句就是一般的定语从句了，先行词是the college,在定语从句中充当visit的宾语，所以用关系代词，可以填that, which或者省略!作状语才用关系副词。

总结：以上两个句子的唯一区别就是多了个the ,
