Dear Sir,

I am grateful to know that you are engaging a part-time English teaching assistant these days. And I want to apply to you for an opportunity of obtaining this position. Currently I am a student from the SCNU University and I major in English teaching.

I have a good command of the fundamental knowledge. Every day I often practice my oral English with my partner and make an impromptu speech to my classmates. I also try to enrich my vocabulary and now I just pass the TEM 4.

English teachings enrich my experience and skills. I have ever taken some activities of teaching English in some different areas. During my English teaching, I learned to communicate with my students well and established their interest in English by playing some games with English. Because I tried to put all what I have learned into practice, so it made a difference. My students made a progress in learning English, which strengthened their confidence so much. I also harvested a lot from them. So I have a conviction that I am competent for performing well as a part-time English teaching assistant.
