教学重点:1、表示国家的基础词汇Canada\Australia \ the UK \the USA\China 学生能听、说、读、写
2、句型:Where are you from? I’m from...能运用交际。
教学难点:1、表示国家词汇的其它表达方式,如the UK= the United Kingdom\ Britain \ the Great Britain
2、句型的人称变化,本课时的第一节课,可以适当拓展。 3、其它国家名称和文化意识的了解。
教学手段:多媒体PPT、卡片、教材内容整合的小绘本 教学过程:

1.Make a picture book to introduce some countries . 2.Make a travelling plan about our summer vacation . 教学反思:
1、用教材而不是教教材。本堂课由于教学内容比较简单熟悉,就是关于Canada\Australia \ the UK \the USA\China词汇和句型,对学生来说吸引性不高。所以就采用对教材内容进行整合(把本单元主要句型和教材后面的Fun Time组合)、改编(整合散的内容改编成一个小绘本),这样既让话题更加的完整丰富,小绘本的图文并茂也让英语课堂更加的有趣。课堂中以教材提供的内容为蓝本,拓展文化类知识和常识性知识。比如 the UK也可以说England \ Britain\the Great Britain 等学习语言的基础知识,教材中只提及Big Ben ,课堂上拓展the London Eye\the London Bridge .美国涉及到迪士尼乐园在全球的分布,迪士尼的经典形象等等;在China环节,教材只提及the Great Wall一个景点,在这个位置设置一个开放性话题,提及这样的内容可以开阔学生的视野,让孩子的认知水平既来源于教材又高于教材,真实的做到教材只是课堂的基础,眼界的培养才是课堂流动的永恒。
2、基础知识小步滚动,反复呈现。本课的基础知识在小绘本封面初现;小绘本内容的编排中以国旗图片的方式复现,学生根据国旗找国家;在听读小绘本中,听音标记国家;输出环节根据名片内容谈论小绘本中出现的国家;假期出行选出将要出游的国家。在教学设计中处处围绕教学目标,时时展现教学内容。 3、本节课学习之后,学生对本单元的重点词汇和句型会有一个大体的认知呈现,为后面几节课的学习打下基础,同时让学生增加对世界的了解,拓展全球视野的意识.对于部分潜能生关于拓展词汇 see beavers \ see maple leaves \have lunch with Mickey Mouse \visit Disneyland ...等有一定的难度,在后面的学习中仍然需要巩固练习。
