1. 形容人的“外貌特征”的名词和形容词

2 what do/does sb. look like? =what +be +sb.+like? 询问某人的外貌
例如：What does he like like?= What’s he like? 表示“他长什么样？”（问长相和容貌）
①look like=be like （长相上）像；长得像 He looks like his father. （look like表示“看起来像”）
②look n. 名词，表示“外表；外貌” 例如. He has a new look. ③like 喜欢 like sth. / like doing / like to do sth. 喜欢做某事 (4)would like to do sth. = want to do sth 愿意做某事/想要做某事 3 She is a little bit heavy.
①a little bit = a little = a bit + 形容词 表示“一点” He can speak a little English.
4 They are talking about the tall boy with curly hair. with表示“带有（某种属性）” →反义词：without “没有....” 例如 Do you know the girl with glasses? 5. She never stops talking.
①stop doing sth. 停止做某事（停止正在做的事）
②stop to do sth. 停下来去做某事（停止正在做的事而去做另外一件事） 例如. My father asked me to stop watching TV.
My father asked me to stop to do my homework. 1. 6.He doesn’t wear glasses any more.
not…any more 表示“不再…” 例如. I don’t want to meet you any more. wear 表示“穿着（衣服）；佩戴（首饰、配饰等）” 如wear a red dress/wear sunglasses 【辨析】wear, put on, dress, in ①wear是动词，表示“穿”，强调状态。E.g. My father wears a T-shirt today. 我爸爸今天穿着T恤衫。 ②put on表示“穿上、戴上”，强调动作。E.g. It’s cold outside, put on your coat please. 外面非常冷，请穿上你的大衣。
③dress 作动词时，表示“为……穿衣”，后接反身代词或人，也可以不接宾语。 E.g. The little girl can dress herself.
④in 表示穿着的状态，后接颜色或服装。E.g. Do you know the boy in black?
6. Nobody knows me.【注】someone, somebody, everyone, everybody, nobody均表示“三单”，与之搭配使用的动词也要变“三单”。 7. in Class Five, Grade Seven

名词+of+名词表示所属关系，表示“....的” E.g. a photo/Picture of my family. 9. be popular with sb. 表示“受某人的欢迎”E.g. The new English teacher is popular with us.

11.Xu Qian loves to tell jokes. love doing sth./love to do sth. ★love 表示“爱...；喜爱....”，比like的程度更深，用法和like相同 12 ★tell stories 表示“讲笑话”
play a joke/ play jokes 表示“开玩笑” play jokes on sb. 表示“开某人的玩笑” 13【辨析】high和tall
⑴说人，动物，树木等有生命的东西，主要用tall，不用high,例如： a tall woman 一个高个子妇女 a tall horse 一个高大的马
⑵说一个不与地面接触的人和物的高时，用high，而不用tall，例如： He is high up in the tree. 他高高地爬在树上。
The plane is so high in the sky. 飞机在空中这么高。
⑶指建筑物、山时要tall或high都可以，不过high的程度比tall高。 ⑷high可作副词，tall不能。
⑸tall的反义词为short, high的反义词为low.

除了以上的句式外，动词wear, have；with构成的介词短语等也常用来描述人的外貌。 E.g. Lu Xun wore a moustache (小胡子) while Max had a beard (络腮胡).
