Ⅲ.Teaching procedures
Step1 warming up& lead in
“Hello! Boys and girls,how are you? I’m fine,think you.” Teacher say.Then sing the colors song with students.
“last class we learn some colors.Today we will learn some interesting words. They are about our face.” led in the new words. Step2 Presentation New words:
play the video about colour to teach the word brown.
Point to the teacher's hair and nose to teach the words hair nose. Point to one student's eye(s) to teach the word eye(s).
Draw two rivers to compare the breadth and have a description to teach wide. Show two boxes to ask students to compare the size to teach the words big small. Ask students to guess a riddle to teach the word mouth. Read the words together. New sentence pattern:
Show a photo of a boy whose hair is brown to express He has brown hair.".
Draw a boy and have a description to teach "He has small eyes. He has big nose. He has wide mouth..
Ask students to read the text and find the sentence pattern He has.. ,,
Write the key sentence pattern "He/She has..." on the blackboard and explain the usage of it. Then practise the sentence pattern with students.
Ask students to read the passage again and find out the answer to . the questions: Q1: What's the man like?
Q2: If you find the man, which number could you call? 'w a photo of a boy whose hair is brown to express He has brown hair.".
Then introduce Anna to students and ask students to describe Anna’s appearance: She has black hair,big eyes,small mouth and small mouth. Step3 Practice
Activity 1:Magic eyes:when I touch the part of my body,students should react quickly and say the words quickly.
Activity2:Role play:The deskmates describe each other’s appearance,and then invite the students to show us. Step4 Summary
Summarize what they have learned today and the teacher makes supplement timely and realizes emotional aim. That is, through this class, the students should learn to accept their imperfections and love themselves. Step 5 Homework
