Dear leaders, Chinese or abroad experts, scholars, guests, and all of

our friends:

Good morning! Firstly, on behalf of our university, I want to express

my sincere welcome to everyone who attends our ### meeting Cum. international seminar of the College of Transportation engineering. Also, I’ll express sincere gratitude to the co-organizers, the supporters, and the donator of this meeting, and the warm congratulations to that we successfully held the meeting!

On the background of the ‘Double first-class construction’ and the

‘National innovation and development’ strategy, ###University has put an eye on the revolutions of research institute. We had built up Institute of Science and Technology, Research Institute of Engineering and Industry and Advanced Technology research institute. We faced to the science and technology output of basic research and applied research, fixed on the national strategy, and promote the transformation of results.

As a part of National strategy, ‘sponge city’ has been a hot topic of

the society. Meaningful to the development of future cities, we held this seminar, aimed at provide a platform for attenders to exchange their academic innovation and research results as well as seek for a breakpoint for the research progress of### and ###.

In the following two days, I hope everyone can gain inspiration for


research through communication between each other, seek for the direction by the research results. Wish you can work together, and innovate together. We are waiting for your valuable advice all the time, too. Finally, wish the success of this meeting!
