I have to take part in the northeast normal university’s red candle volunteer association, and become a volunteer in this community. I try my best to help the old people and child. I told stories and played games with children, for the old grandma, I combed her hair and sang operas. It was happily to do this. A lot of people think that is all about the warm and fuzzy feeling you feel after helping someone.
On balance, no matter for the society or for individuals volunteering work is great. Getting involved in volunteering, you will be exposed to a new environment, and you can learn how to work well in a team, how to improve your interpersonal skills and organizational skills. Voluntary activity can increase your social experience to fill your resume. It’s also teach you what is the truly happiness it is and help you growth. In the volunteering you can make many new friends. All of this are critical for your future growth.
As a college student, I sincerely hope that everyone would join the volunteering work. It is not only good to our society, but also a chance for us to grow and to learn.
