A:Hi,what do you think of that smoking would be banned on the campus of our university?

B:In my opinion,l am totally against smoking in the public especially in university.

A:yeah.I hold the same opinion to you. As we all know ,smoking is harmful not only to our health but also to the environment.

B:you are right .smoking can lead to many disease, such as lung cancer. Besides, smoking affects non-smokers more than it does smokers.So smoking in public will do more harm to other people.

A: Yes.And l don’t think smoking is a good habit although you have the freedom to smoke. you must guarantee others interest. so if you want to smoke, go to the place where there is no body.

B:as a college student who has received higher education ,you have the responsibility to set a good example to others for no- smoking.

A:but besides, the society should offer aids to help ban smoking. The danger of smoking should be warned everywhere, and newspapers should be asked not to publish


advertisements for cigarettes ,world “no tobacco day‘ should be observed every year as the biggest campaign against smoking. B: good idea!
