through和across有什么区别？

【问】 We went through holes in the rock, across bridges, over a dam and into the water.

1.through和across表示“穿过”时，through与in有关，强调“从……里边穿过”,为在立体空间中的“穿过”,即是从一头（边）贯穿到另一头（边）。

；across与on有关，强调“从……上面穿过”，“横穿”，与“道路”交叉形成“十字”“横穿、横过、横渡、横跨”。例如：across the road，across the river，go across the street; go through the forest， run through the city 。

e.g.The river runs through our city.这条河流经我们市。 He passed through the hall. 他穿过大厅

e.g.I swam across the Chang jiang River 20 years ago. 20年前我横渡了长江。

Look left and right before you go across the street. 过马路时要左右看。
