英语分层次听说教学探微
高一新生的英语水平参差不齐,可按听说水平将学生分成A(优)、B(良)和C(弱)三个组别。一开始教师就要把注意力放在C组学生身上,放慢教学速度,降低教学要求,但决不减少对他们的关怀,防止C组学生群出现“一口噎住,一棒打懵,破罐破摔”的恶性循环。
1.每单元的Dialogue听说训练中要求C组的学生模仿录音或在教师的引导下进行机械训练(朗读或扮角色对话),并能记住录音对话中的典型句型,对他们的提问也只停留在一些常识性问答的范畴。B组的学生在完成C组学习任务的基础上,通过对个别词语的替换来巩固所学的对话内容。这既对C组学生起到示范、鼓励的作用,又对A组的学生起很大的督促作用,因为教师的要求是:A组学生要各自根据对对话中心话题的理解,用自己所学的相关知识,由一个人或几个人自编一个或几个相关题材的对话。教师对他们的提问也是多让他们做一些判断推理的问答。如:SB2A U1中心话题是:Asking the way(问路),教师是这样处理的:
C组学生要掌握的常用句型:
1)Excuse me,can you tell me the way to…? 2)Excuse me,how can I get to…?
3)Excuse me,where's the nearest men's room,please? 4)Excuse me,where can I take the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad?
