Food Security
The picture above vividly shows that many dishonest enterprises pour large amount of money into their pockets at the expense of the interests of the common people. Facing the temptation of huge profits, they choose totakethe health and lives of othersat risk, like what monsters always do. The sword in the cartoon implies that food security has become a hot issue which needs tobe solved immediately.
Several cases of food scandal have been disclosed on various media recently. From problematic baby formula to problematic cooking oil recycled from kitchen waste and grease from animal skin, and the recent scandal of expired meat products used by fast food restaurants, there seems to be no end to the revelations of the dishonest producers and dealers. These cases reveal the declining of morality and inefficiency of related department. What’s more, the lack of adequate regulation and punishment on those illegal producers enforces the trend.

Apart from moral condemnation, it also requires integral efforts from different authorities, especially the law enforcement departments and supervisory bodies. I am firmly convinced that through combined efforts we are bound to enjoy more risk-free foods in the days ahead.

The popularization of Smartphone partly contributes to the cell phone addiction as functions of cell phone vary from handy net-surfing to fantastic video games. In the meanwhile, lack of true friends, a significant number of people intend to relieve stress of study or work through cell phones.

Long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation may trigger many health problems, such as insomnia, headaches and even cancers. What’s more, overuse of mobile phones means much less chance of face-to-face interactions with the people around. As a result, people are supposed to be self-controlled enough to shun overdependence on cell phone
