巩俐生于1965.12.31.她出生在中国沈阳，并于1987年开始表演。在那之前她进入中央戏剧学院。她很高并且漂亮，她有大眼睛她是一位有经验的女演员并把刚毅的中国女性的角色演得很好。

Gong Li was born on 31st December 1965 .she was born in Shenyang,China and started acting in 1987.Befroe that she entered the Central A Cadeny of Drama .she in tall and beautiful,and she has bright eyes .she is an experienced catress and plays the role strong Chinese women very well. Since her first film,Red songhum ,Gong Li has acted in many other successful film. Other films she has taken part in include Raise the Red Lantern in 1991,The Story of Qiuju in 1992, Farewell Ma Comcbine in 1993,The Emperor and the Assassin and Breaking the silence in 1999,and Memworrs of a Geisha in 2005. She won several international awards such as the Award for Best Actress at the Venice Lnternational Film Festival in 1992 and another one at the Montreal World Film Fertival in 2000. She also won an Award for Best supporting Actress from the New York Film Critics in 1993 and later another one form the National Board of Review in 2005 again .Gong Li is considered as a talented actress .
