a few months ago, i was a primary pupil. i had many good friends and teachers that i remember all the time.

my new life is very exciting. i’m in dongzhou middle school. it’s famous in jiangsu. it’s bigger and more beautiful than the primary school. i love it very much.

A few years ago, I went to Beijing. I really had a great time there.

The first time I went to Beijing, I was very confused. Beijing was verybig. It was so big that I couldn’t find the right directions. And the trafficwas always so busy.

During my staying in Beijing, I visited so many places of interest, such asthe Great Wall, Tiannmen Square, the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City, and soon. I also went to

Wangfujing shopping mall. But things were very expensive. SoI just did the window shopping. What’s more, the most exciting thing for me was taking the underground.Although it was crowded, I still felt excited. Because I could follow the stepsof the modern city.

There are a lot of people learning English in china. Why do people learn English in china? Because they think it is very useful. Beijing’s successful bid for the 20xx Olympic Games encourages more people to learn English.

How can we learn English well? At first, I try to speak as much as I can. I speak English with myclassmates and teachers in school. Secondly, I listen to English as often as possible in and out of class and write down the important things the teacher teaches in class. Thirdly, at night I like to listen to the English songs at home.

At last, I go over my lessons and do a lot of practice after class. Fourthly, it is also


important to remember the English words .I think if we do like this, we can learn English well. In fact, there is no good and easy way to learn English well. But there is nothing difficult if we put our heart into it.

When I was just a little girl, my relatives all said to me,"You are not a beautiful girl. If you want to be paid attention to, you must work harder than others."These words hurt me. So I wanted to be a beautiful girl, just like the Snow White. That was my illusion when I was five years old.

I grew up. When I was ten years old, I wanted to be a scientist. I believed that if I was a world-famous scientist, I would be noticed by people all over the world. I could do many good things for them.

Now Im fifteen, I have my third illusion: I want to be a singer. Because I love singing. I love music. I even want to produce music myself. I also want to let the entire world hear my voice and my songs, though Im not the best singer.

I know all these are just my illusions. Maybe they will never come true. But Im still very happy because of my illusions.

Our parents love us very much. But sometimes we feel our parents love us in the wrong way.

Now, we are middle school students. Our parents dont want us to do anything except study. If we want to help them do some housework, they say,"You should read books in your room."Sometimes we want to make some toys, such as model planes or boats, but they usually say,"Better not do this, I can buy everything you like. It is important for you to study hard.”

Fathers and mothers! We know that you want to be good parents. But we have grown up and so we should learn how to organize our time, for study, housework and fun, by ourselves! last sunday morning, my friend and i went to visit the beijing zoo. we went by bike. it took us about half an hour to get there. when we got there, it was already crowded with people. there were a lot of foreign visitors, too. it is said that the beijing zoo is the largest in asia and one of the largest in the world. there are hundreds of different kinds of animals. it world take a whole day to see all the animals there.

so we decided to see some of the most interesting ones. we saw the elephants first and then the monkeys. finally we went to see our favourite "friends"--the giant pandas. we were delighted to see them waving to us. we really had a wonderful time in the zoo.

Attention, everyone. We will have a great day out this Sunday. We will go the Peopl e Park by bus. If you are free and want to join us, we will wait for you at the school gate at 6:30 this Sunday. And we will leave at 7:oo, it will take us one and half an hour to get there at 8:30. . There we will have lots of activities, for example, we can boat on the lake, we can have a picnic in the morning, in the afternoon, we can fly kites, pick up the park. at about 4:00 pm , we will come back to school.
