Chinese Valentine’s Day

The lunar July 7 is a traditional festival of the Han Chinese Valentine's Day. There is a beautiful but sad origin of this festival. Weaving Maid and Cowherd loved each other deeply. However, they were forced not to see each other for the whole year except July 7.On this day, they will meet on the special bridge making by smart magpies, the symbol of happiness. Here is a joke about it. Since all magpies fly to make the bridge for Weaving Maid and Cowherd .It’s hard to find a magpie on Chinese Valentine’s Day in China. In addition, we all believe that if we are standing or sitting under a frame of grape or other melon and fruit on this night, we can hear their conversations. Many people believe this legend and hope to have a happy life. Many lovers will send a gift to each other. And a lot of people chose to express their love to someone they love secretly on this day. It is the most romantic festival of various traditional Chinese festivals.
