My favorite snack is Zhongzi, which is one of the traditional Chinese food we usually eat it at the May’s fifth day of lunar calendar. It is said that after the famed poetry in Chinese history whose name is Quyuan died, to commemorate his loyalty the local people utilized rice, nuts and leafs made this tasted food. People in comtemporary world still run the tradition yet with the rapid development of citizen’s living standard, more delicious raw materials such as pork and chestnut are being used to make it. Zhongzi, which is now more than a symbol of traditional Chinese culture, but also a commodity in every family to play host to guests or something else.I like Zhongzi’s taste, it’s soft and viscous, sweet and savory mixed the rice and leaf’s spicery, furthermore it is nutritious. Covered by leafs makes zhongzi convenience to take. When I was hungry I would like a zhongzi to fill my empty stomach, and it is a really enjoyment.
