教学目标：区分一般过去时与过去进行时教学过程：

Step1 开门见山，提出本节课学习目标—区分一般过去时与过去进行时

Step2 请说出以下句子。给出以下6个句子，请学生认真思考翻译成英文。

1.他去年是个老师。

2. 他昨天早上八点在教书。 3. 他们昨天打篮球。

4.他们昨天下午四点正在打篮球。 5.图图昨天吃了所有的蛋糕。 6.图图昨天这个时候正在吃蛋糕。

把学生翻译出来的句子分两组,让学生感受这两种时态。

第一组：1、He was a teacher last year. 2. They played basketball yesterday.

3. Tutu ate all the cakes yesterday. （一般过去时）

第二组：1、He was teaching at 8：00 yesterday morning. 2. They were playing basketball at 4:00 PM yesterday.

3. Tutu was eating cakes at this time yesterday.（过去进行时）

Step3让学生观察总结一般过去时与过去进行时的共同点。得出结论：都是表示过去发生的动作。

Step4 让学生从4面区别一般过去时与过去进行时。给出小标题，让学生思考总结。区别一：定义。

区别二：动作状态。区别三：谓语动词。区别四：时间标志。学生观察结果如下：区别一：定义。

一般过去时：过去的某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。过去进行时：过去的某个时刻正在发生的动作。

区别二：动作状态。

一般过去时: 往往表示某一动作已经完成。

过去进行时: 表示动作持续性或不知是否完成。

区别三：谓语动词。一般过去时：动词过去式

过去进行时：was/were + doing

区别四：时间标志。

一般过去时：

night)（笼统的过去时间状语）

过去进行时：

at 8:00 yesterday

 at this time yesterday  at this time last year(Monday, month)

 at 9:00 last night （明确的过去时间状语）

Step5 设置一系列的练习让学生学以致用。练习一、火眼金睛（改错）

 My grandpa was buying a pig yesterday.  Lucy cooked at 8:00 last night.

 Linda watched TV at this time last evening.  My father was going to Hong Kong yesterday. 练习二、用动词的恰当形式填空。

教学反思：这节语法课以轻松简单明了的方式让学生观察总结区分一般过去时与过去进行时这两个容易让学生疑惑的时态。形成约定然后通过练习巩固检查所学知识。这是学习语法时态的好方法。不够对于基础较差的学生来说，内容偏多了。
