Who在从句中的运用

一、概述

(1)当先行词是all,any,a few等不定代词指人时。（2）先行词为that,this,these,thoes指人时。（3）直接位于介词后作宾语时，要改用whom。

二、实例

1）可引导特殊疑问句；

eg:Who is over there?(在那儿的那个人是谁？)

2）可引导名词性从句（包括主语从句，宾语从句，表语从句，同位语从句），在句中做主语；主语从句 eg:Who will do the job has not been decided yet;

(还没决定谁去做那份工作)；

同位语从句 eg:The question who should do the job requires consideration

(谁应该做这个工作的问题还需要考虑)。

eg:Do you know the man who/that is standing by the window?

(你认识那个正站在窗边的人吗？)

4）引导强调句型：It is I who/that am responsible for the project.

(要对那件事负责的是我〈而不是其他人〉)

三、强调：who只能用于“人”。

1. 当先行词为one,ones(此处均指人),those,anyone,people时。如：

Those who are from Qingdao come this way.

从青岛来的人走这条路。 2.以 There be 开头的句子。如：

There's a man at the door who wants to see you.

在门边的那个人想见你。 3.当先行词后有较长的后置定语或定语从句被分开时。如:

A teacher will come tomorrow will teach you English.

教你们英语的一个老师明天会来。

4.当一个句子带有两个定语从句,其中一个用that,另一个宜用who。如：

The student that was praised at yesterday's meeting is a monitor who is very modest.

5.在非限制性定语从句中。如：

The famous basketball star ,who is handsome attend a lot of attentions.

6.当先行词用body或one构成的不定代词时。如： Is there anybody else who will provide us help?

7.当先行词是集合名词时，如果着眼于集体，使用that/which；如果着眼于个体，则使用who。如：

a.Our team ,who are all at the age of twenty,will do well in the game.

b.Our team,which took the second place last year,played better this year.

定语从句中的who和whom叫做关系代词。其中who在定语从句中充当主语，whom充当宾语。但注意：who可以代替whom作宾语，但whom 不可代替who做主语。 The man who is standing there is my teacher.

The man who/whom you saw just now is my teacher. who指人，在从句中做主语

(1) The boys who are playing football are from Class One. (2) Yesterday I helped an old man who lost his way. whom指人，在定语从句中充当宾语，常可省略。

(1) Mr. Liu is the person (whom) you talked about on the bus. (2) Mr. Ling is just the boy whom I want to see.

注意：关系代词whom在口语和非正式语体中常用who代替，可省略

答：选B, whom和who的区别在于whom作宾语而who作主语，当然通常情况下whom可用who代替，但在其前有介词时则不可，所以应选B，这里whom指代的是famo
