Unit 6 Would you like to order?

Dialogue B Activity 10---Activity 12 教学设计 教学目标

1. 知识目标

1) 学生能掌握部分有关菜名的词汇，如 juice, beef steak, burger, salad, cheese

等。

2) 学生能掌握点餐的句型，如：

① Would you like to order now?/Are you ready to order now? ② Would you like something to drink/eat? (Would you like sth.?) ③ What about you? 2. 能力目标

① 理解、听懂课文的对话，能模拟、编写简单的对话。

② 能进行知识迁移，把所学的语言知识用在模拟的实际情景中。 3. 情感目标 培养学生大胆开口、勇于实践的良好学习习惯。

二、 教学重点

1. 听对话，学生能听懂关于餐厅点餐的内容。

2. 通过餐厅点餐对话的学习，学生能熟练运用点餐的英语句型。

三、 教学难点

1. 学生能听懂菜名。

2. 学生能熟练运用点餐的英语句型。

四、 教学方法

本课主要采用直观教学法、情景教学法、任务型教学法。

五、 教学准备 : 课件、自制录像、道具等。 六、时间： 一节课( 45 分钟)

七、教学过程

Step one : Review

播放一小段跟点菜有关的小品《不差钱》 ，让学生在欢笑声中回答问题来复 习学过的单词。

Questions: 1. Where are they? ---- restaurant

2. Whom does xiao shenyang act as? --- waiter/waitress

3. What's this in zhao bensha'ns hands? menu 4. What are they doing? -- ordering food

Step two: Lead-in

回答以下问题引出新课：

1. Do you like to eat out? ( Do you like to have dinner in a restaurant?) 2. What does a waiter usually ask you after you sit down in a restaurant?

Step three: Vocabulary study

用图片展示所要学的单词，带读、齐读等形式学习单词。

Step four : Listening

Questions: 1.How many people are there in this dialogue? Who are they?

---- Three. Tang Hua, Sara and Waiter.

2.What do the customers order? beef steak, a glass of orange juice.

Step five: Speaking

〈一〉找出服务员如何询问顾客点餐的句子以及顾客的答语：

1. Would you like to order now? Yes,' like…

2. Would you like something to drink? A glass of orange juice, please. 3. What about you? The same, please.

〈二〉操练句型 师生、学生之间一问一答操练句型。

Step six: Role play

Supposeyou or you and your friend go to Meimei Restaurant to have dinner, now make a dialogue about ordering food in the restaurant, using the sentences and words of Activity 12.

Step seven: Summary

Words：bu rge r, beef steak, salad, juice, cheese Main Sentences:

Would you like to order?/Are you ready to order now? ----Yes, I'd like …

Would you like something to drink/eat? (Would you like sth.?) ----A glass /cup o…,please./ No, thanks. What about you?

—I ' like…/ The same, please.

Step eight: Assignment

Make a menu for a restaurant, and you act as waiter in the restaurant, make a dialogue with your partner who acts as a customer.
