I. Analysis of teaching material and the students

Teaching material analyze: The main content is the key sentence which is related with weather of this unit , and its also about contain the sentence which uses the present progressive. The main key sentences are both about how to ask the weather, and answer the weather in the different district.

The students analyze: This unit is for grade 7 students who had studied the present progressive. Controling How to ask the weather and answer the question are the difficult point and key point.

. Teaching objectives

1. Knowledge objects:

1) Key vocabularies: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, now, weather, Moscow, Boston, Toronto… 2) Target languages: What’s the weather like today\in…? How’s the weather today\in …? It’s raining\windy…. It’s a rainy day. 2.Ability objects:

1) Train students’ listening and speaking skills. 2) Train students’ communicative competence. 3.Moral objects:
