原文往岁1士人2.多尚3对偶为文4.穆修、张景5辈始为平文6.当时谓之古文7.穆、张尝8同造朝9.待旦于东华门外 ,方论文次10.适见11有奔马践12死一犬,二人各记其事以较工拙13.穆修曰:马逸14.有黄犬原文

往岁1士人2.多尚3对偶为文4.穆修、张景5辈始为平文6.当时谓之“古文”7.穆、张尝8同造朝9.待旦于东华门外 ,方论文次10.适见11有奔马践12死一犬,二人各记其事以较工拙13.穆修曰:“马逸14.有黄犬遇蹄而毙15.”张景曰:“有犬死奔马之下。”时文体新变16.二人之语皆拙涩17.当时已谓之工18.传之至今。选自沈括《梦溪笔谈》注释

1.往岁:过去的年代。 2.士人:即为官的文人。 3.尚:崇尚。

4.对偶为文:指骈体文。

5.穆修、张景:均为人名,都是宋初散文家。 6.平文:散文。

7.古文:指先秦期的古代散文,这里与骈文是对立的。
