In fact, if let me take after- school classes that I don’t like, I’ll feel tired and hate studying. If I can choose after- school classes that I like, I’ll be interested in studying and make progress. But you will say that can influence my study. These are my ideas. Some of my friends always complain about taking boring after- school classes, so do I . I think I should have some free time. I can do the things that I want to do, such as playing sports, reading and so on. I would like to play basketball in my spare time. It makes me happy. Please agree with me.

You said you couldn’t understand every word when you talked with people. Well, you can understand the important words, not every words. You also said you always forgot the new words. Maybe you should write them down in your notebook and study them at home. You told me you didn’t get enough writing exercises. Why don’t you find a pen pal? And you also told me that you often made mistakes in grammar. What about asking your teacher for help? I think your teacher will be happy if you ask. I am not a child any more I have changed a lot during the past three years. I used to be weak and short. But now, I am strong and as tall as my mother. The most important thing is that I have learned to care about others.

It was a Wednesday evening. When I went back home, no one was in. So I cooked the meal. I didn’t know my mother was ill until my parents came back from the hospital. They both said the meal was very delicious, although it tasted salty. At bedroom, I fetched hot water for my mother to wash feet. My mother said, “Dear, you’ve really grown up.”

It was the first time that I had realized I was not a child any more.
