课标要求与教材分析:
Curriculum Standards require the students to grasp how to ask about prices and talk about clothing and thanking someone.
The target language is :How much is the red sweater? It’s eight dollars.($8) How much are these black pants? They’re ten dollars.($10)
Shopping is one of the most important topics. Students should learn to talk about the topic by using the key words and sentences .By comparing “dollars” and “RMB”, students can learn about different cultures. 学情分析:
This unit is about shopping. Students must be interested in it. They’ll take an active part in the activities in class. And they can co-operate well. 教学目标:
Knowledge and skills:
1. Learn the new words about clothing and numbers。Learn how to ask about prices and how to shop. 2. Listening ,speaking,reading and writing skills. Process and methods:
4P methods。Lingual methods,pairwork and groupwork. Emotion ,attitude and values:
By completing the teaching tasks ,students can learn to save money properly.
Unit7 第一课时(P41-42)
课时教学目标:
Knowledge and skills:
1. Learn the new words on Page 41-42.
2. Learn the sentences :-How much is this/that/the„? -It’s „dollars.
-How much are these /those/the„? –They’re „dollars. Process and methods:
Preparation-Presentation-Practice-Production; Lingual methods, pairwork and groupwork. Emotion, attitude and values:
Students can learn different cultures and learn not to waste too much money. 教学重点与难点: Important points:

-How much is this/that/the„? -It’s „dollars.

Methods: Lingual methods, pairwork and groupwork. Means: Objects, pictures and a tape recorder 使用教材构想:
First learn the new words about clothes ,then lead the students to practice and grasp the target languages. Students can compare: -How much is this/that/the„? -It’s „dollars. / -How much are these /those/the„? –They’re „dollars. And they can learn how to ask about prices of things.
教学流程:
Step 1. Preparation(To train the students’ memories) Greetings and review. Go over the numbers from 1 to 20. Students say and spell the numbers .
Step 2. Presentation(By using some pictures ,students can learn the new words better) Present the new words.
T: I like shopping very much . Do you like shopping ? Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s go to the clothes store .
Show the picture of a clothes store with different kinds of clothes in it . T: Do you like the clothes in this store ? Ss: Yes.
T: Do you know the names of the clothes? (Point at a sweater in the picture) It’s a sweater .
read after the teacher. (sweater)
Then teach the other new words in the same way. Ss read and remember the new words. Then practice using the new words. T: Boys and girls , look at me, please. I’m wearing a blue coat, a grey sweater ,black pants ,white socks and black shoes. What about you ?
S1: My coat is red , my sweater is white ,my pants are black , my socks and shoes are white. T: Very good. Who would like to tell us about you ? S2: „. S3: „.
Then ask students to talk about them in pairs like this: S1: What color is your sweater ? S2: It’s green .
S1: What color are your shoes ? S2: They’re white.
„-etc. (To train students’ speaking skills and they can remember the words and use them in sentences.)
Step 3. Practice ( Train students’listening skills and practice the target languages.) T: If you want to buy some clothes , how do you ask the assistant?
Give some examples : How much is the red sweater? It’s eight dollars.($8)
How much are these black pants? They’re ten dollars.($10)„. Then students practice asking and answering in pairs . S1: How much is your sweater ? S2: It’s 10 dollars.
S1: How much are your pants ? S2: They’re eight dollars. ...-etc.
Then play the tape of 2a and 2b twice each for students to listen and do . Check the answers in class.
Step 4.Production (To learn the important points in this class) 1. Read and learn the Grammar Focus .
2.问题探究与拓展活动:
1).ten dollars ($ 10) / eight yuan (¥ 8) Note:dollars/ yuan
如:one dollar/ one yuan
nine dollars/ nine yuan
2). How much和how many的用法区别:
how much与how many的意思基本相同,但前者用来修饰不可数名词,也可单独使-用,意思是“多少钱”;后者用来修饰可数名词复数。如:How much are the pants?这裤子多少钱?How much bread do you want? 你要多少面包? How many apples do you want? 你要多少苹果?
