(1) A trip to Beijing
I went on a trip to Beijing with my parents this summer holiday. It’s the capital of China. It’s north-west of Shanghai.We visited many places of interest, such as the Great Wall,the Palace Museum and the Summer Palace. (2) My dream job
My dream is to be a doctor when I grow up. My father is a famous doctor, so I want to be a doctor too. I want to be a doctor because I would like to take good care of sick people and save people’s lives. As we know, it is not very easy to be a doctor. I should study hard from now on. I will try my best to make my dream come true.
(3) A model student in my class
I think Kitty is a model student in my class. She is very kind and helpful.She always helps other students and she often smiles at others. Although she lives far away from school, she is never late for class. I can learn a lot from Kitty. Although she is poor at Maths, she never gives it up. I am poor at English, so I will practise English more. I’d like to be a model student just like Kitty. (4) My favourite season
There are four seasons in a year. Of all seasons, I like spring best. Spring is the first season of a year. The weather is getting warmer and warmer. Everything begins to turn green. Flowers come out. Birds starts singing and making their nests in the trees. In spring I like to go outing and have a picnic with my friends. I usually go sightseeing in the season. Spring can make me think of a lot of things. I like spring best.

What do you think our life will be like in the future? Perhaps people will have robots. The robots will help us do all the housework. Perhaps there will be computers in every home. The children will learn form computers. Perhaps people will be able to fly to the moon and live on it. I think people will be able to live under the sea. How wonderful our life will be in the future! (6) My ideal school life
My school life is not so enjoyable. I have to do a lot of homework every day, so I have no time to take part in more activities. I would like to have less homework. Although I have computer lessons every week, two students have to share a computer. It would be necessary and convenient for every student to have a computer at school. (7) A hard-working student
In my eyes, Peter is a hard-working student in my class. Although he is not good at English , he keeps reading English aloud for half an hour every morning. Although he is good at Maths, he is never proud of himself. He always helps others when others are in trouble. I think we should learn from him. We should work as hard as him.
