名词的单复数形式

1、可数名词，前面用a 或 an

2、复数形式：

（1）直接加s： rabbit——rabbits apple——apples book——books bag——bags fruit——fruits

（2）以s、x、ch、sh结尾的加es:

box——boxes bus——buses dress——dresses glass——glasses

peach——peaches watch——watches wish——wishes

（3）以y结尾的：

y前面是元音的直接加s： boy——boys monkey ——monkeys y前面是辅音的，改y为i加es:

family—— families butterfly——butterflies study——studies library——libraries hobby ——hobbies

（4）以f或fe结尾的，改f 、fe为v再加es:

knife——knives wolf——wolves thief——thieves

（5）以o结尾的：

有生命的加es：mango ——mangoes mosquito—— mosquitoes

potato——patatoes hero——heroes tomato——tomatoes

没有生命的加s: (除个别特殊的）

photo——photos radio——radios piano——pianos zoo——zoos bamboo——bamboos竹子 video——videos

*不规则变化的词：

man——men woman——women child——children tooth——teeth foot——feet goose——geese

单复数形式相同的词：sheep deer fish

注：液体粉状物不可数，没有单复数形式，如water milk
