The Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway’s most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation.

This novel mainly wrote one old man who had not caught any fish for eighty-four days. On the eighty-fifth day, he still went to fish alone. He got one big fish by his effort, but they met a shark. As a result of a struggle between the old man and the shark, the fish was eaten by the shark and the old man dragged home the fish only a bare skeleton.

I am moved by the spirit of the old man, which is never giving up. In my opinion, we may meet some difficulties in our life and we must have a faith to get over it.
