As a famous Chinese proverb going ’ the history is a mirror.’ The things happeningeveryday is the current history. You can imagine that something which may change the world is happening around the world, though you don’t attach importance to that. A famous theory called ‘ butterfly effect’ shows that maybe you think these things are none of your business, indeed, they can eventually make the change. That is my view that we should know about the events all over the world.
On one hand, everything has its own link, if we pay attention to something which seems to be useless, we can predict and then protect ourselves. For instance, the effect I have mentioned above is the best example. And as we all know, a nightmare happened in china in china, the SARS. Becausethe people from other country knew about the diseases, they could prevent the virus from spreading to their own country. In opposite, if they didn’t know about it, the situation would be worse. I have ever heard a theory is that every two strangers can find the connection through 6 people, this theory has a same meaning with the effect. We cannot ignore the events happening the world, though it looks like that they cannot affect you daily life, but it’s just looks like. Maybe someday a murder in other district may contribute to a development of the global laws.
On the other hand, caring about the things happening around the world can lead a person to be more easy to make friends. A person who knows what is happening all over the world is very charming and interesting, he always has a topic to talk to others. And he never can be embarrassed for no theme to talk. The more friends a person has, the happier life he will enjoy. The whole word is always changing, and the events are always happening. We could know all about them, if we pay attention, there’s no doubt that our life can be more colorful and amazing.
