可数名词和不可数名词及其练习

大多数名词为可数名词，有单复数之分。

不可数名词包括：

食物：bread meat rice cheese fish beef

饮料：milk water cola coffee wine tea orange （橘子汁） 自然物质：air soil sand wood

抽象情感：love peace friendship joy happiness



注意：不可数名词不能单独用a修饰，要加个量词

A paper (×)

a piece of paper 一张纸(√) ten pieces of paper 十张纸 (√) a coffee (×)

a cup of coffee 一杯咖啡(√) two cups of coffee 两杯咖啡(√)

不可数名词没有复数形式。不可数名词作主语，谓语动词用单数。但当其前有“数词+量词+of+不可数名词”时，谓语动词根据量词而定。

___________ (Is / Are) any water in the cup?

___________ (Is / Are) two cups of water on the table?

特别提醒：有名词既是可数名词，又是不可数名词，但含义不同

Food 食物 （不可数名词） fruit 水果（不可数名词）

Foods 各种食物 （可数名词） fruits 各种水果（可数名词）

Ice-cream 冰淇淋 （表示这种物质是不可数）

An ice-cream 一根冰淇淋 （表示一根一根的冰淇淋是可数） Two ice-creams 两根冰淇淋

Chicken 鸡肉 （不可数名词）

A chicken 一只鸡（表示鸡时是可数名词） Hair 头发（不可数名词） Two chickens 两只鸡（可数名词） Hairs 花白头发（可数名词）

Exercise 运动，锻炼 （不可数名词）

Exercise 练习，做操（可数名词）

注意：有些名词单复数同形

Sheep(单数)----sheep(复数) , people(单数)----people(复数)
