1. rain (1)n(不可数). 雨水 There is a lot of in summer.

2. How’s the weather?=What’s the weather like? 天气怎么样？答语：It’s +描述天气的形容词/v-ing. 描述天气的形容词:

wind→windy多风的 cloud→cloudy多云的 rain→rainy 多雨的 snow→snowy下雪的 sun→sunny 晴朗的 fog→foggy 有雾的

（1）take a message for sb.为某人捎口信. Amy isn’t here. You can take a message for her. （2）leave a message 留口信

（3）give sb. a message 捎信给某人 You can give her a message.

（1）What+名词性短语（+主语+谓语）！ What a fine day it is today! （2）How+adj/adv（+主语+谓语）！ How fine it is today!

4. How’s it going（with sb/sth）?近来情况怎样？进展如何？=How’s everything going? 答语：Great/Pretty good/Not bad/Terrible/Just so-so! e.g. ---How is it going your study? ---Great! 5. cook (1)v. 做饭 My mother often cooks (dinner) for us.

（2）n．厨师 I want to be a great cook in the future.（注意：cooker 厨具） 6. message“信息，消息”可数名词。

改为否定句：（2）tell sb. (not) to do sth.告诉某人做某事

10.Sounds like you’re having a good time. 听起来你玩得好开心。

这是一个省略句，相当于 It sounds like you’re …。

It sounds like+句子与It sounds +形容词 “听起来……；听上去……”。这种省略的用法十分口语化。

例如：(It) Sounds like he’s all right now. 听上去他现在病已经好了。 11. （1）Could you…? 你能。。。？常用语向对方提出请求，语气比较委婉。 ---Could you please close the door ? ---Sure/Certainly! （2）No problem. 没有问题.
