The Review of “a Brief History of Humankind”

Yuval Noah Harari, the author, is a young historian. In "Human history", he writes a complex, difficult and boring human history with simple language and true historical examples. This book tells the story of human cognition and the development of mankind itself. And these cognitive and development suggests that human nature is evil and cruel accompanied by human cruelty.

Human is a very cruel animal. When man first landed on Australia, Australia is a strange and wonderful world. But after the human’s entering for thousands of years, all large animals have been disappearing. Humans have destroyed their food chains and ecosystems, and many of them have been extinct. Hunting has been unable to meet the human. They destroy forests and shrubs wantonly in order to grow food. And human had been developing and growing from generation to generation, forming settlements and villages. In the course of the agricultural revolution, the emergence of the text, began to record the facts and figures, and the brutality of human had been more serious. In the tribal society in Papua New Guinea, some farmers would cut off pig nose or even dig out the pig's eye directly in order to prevent swine from running away. There were constant wars between the Empires in order to make the new order and rule. In the China's 5000 years of history process of the agricultural revolution, a dynasty replaced another dynasty with endlessly killing. The people's war had been staged.
Today's society is to a stage of scientific revolution. Human beings have a variety of civilizations and all kinds of doctrine, such as capitalism and communism. They invented a variety of weapons. These did not change the brutality, human continue to
destroy the ecological environment for resources, resulting in the ecological crisis. Also with the same kind of war, like the Iraq war, the Ukraine war and so on, resulting in numerous human countless casualties.
Ecological crisis could endanger the survival of Homo sapiens itself. Such as global warming, rising sea levels, severe pollution and the extinction of a large number of animal. Whether the imbalance would cause human extinction may soon be known in the future. The natural world has begun to revenge.
