第三部分我采用Funny animals!这一话题,通过展示会走的鱼,不会飞的鸟——企鹅,以及不会跑的哺乳动物——鲸鱼,通过设问的方式,引导学生对can引导的一般疑问句进行肯定或否定回答,同时对本课重点单词swimflyrun进一步巩固。 通过这一有趣的话题,吸引学生的学习兴趣,并且在最后进行了情感教育Animals are so funny! We should love them and protect them! They are our good friends. 第四部分Make an animal poster是本课的小组活动环节,四人一组制作动物卡片,要求学生用can来描述动物能做什么或不能做什么,锻炼学生思考能力,并将本课内容落实到书写上。

教学过程

Let’s sing together. Add some actions.

Show some sounds of different animals to review the animals we learned. Then show the sound of the horse. Then introduce the new friend on the farm: rabbit.

Show a picture: a horse is running. Then give the sentence:___ can run. Show a picture: a rabbit is jumping.Then give the sentence:___ can jump. Then students could understand the meaning of run and jump.

Show a picture of horse, and ask: Can a horse run?

Students may answer: Yes, it can. Then ask Can it fly? They may answer: No, it can’t. Then go on: What animals can fly? Show a piture of birds. Students can answer: Birds can fly.

Show a picture of fish. Students may say: Fish can swim. Then ask them, what animals can swim. Show pictures of dogs and ducks. Students can give the right answer. Show a picture of fish. Can a fish swim? Students can answer: Yes, it can. Many fishes can swim. Then show a picture of a walking fish. Ask: Can this fish walk? Students may surprise and say: Yes, it can.

Many birds can fly. But a penguin can’t.

Many mammals can run. But a whale can’t.

教学目的

TPR操练活跃气氛,帮助学快速融入英语学习氛围 通过动物的声音吸引学生兴趣,并且复习所学过的动物名称。然后引出今天所学动物名称:horse&rabbit 通过图片展示马在跑、兔子在跳,让学生对跑和跳两个动作有一个基本的认识,后给出句子进行挖空,让学生填入刚刚学过的horserabbit,帮助学生理解runjump的含义。

将课本三四部分合并讲解,创设在农场游玩的情境,引学生兴趣,并且能够使用句型Can a horse run? What animals can fly? 并且引导学生给出正确的回答。

Four in a group, choose an animal and say something about it. Then, show the animal poster to the class.

第四部分:制作动物海报。四人一组合作完成一张动物海报并进行展示。通过这一活动,既锻炼学生合作学习的能力,也帮助学生再次can的用法消化吸收,能够运用到实际生活中。
