Never give up the pursuit of learning

Dear students of the Graduating class,

As you are leaving your alma mater, I have nothing to give you as a gift except a word.

The word is ,"Never give up the pursuit of learning." In the past, you had to finish your

college courses mostly for obtaining the diploma. However, from now on you are free to follow your heart to study. NOW while you are in the full vigor of life, why not push yourselves to do a specialized knowledge? Youth is never come again, when energy decline, it's too late to work hard. As a means of subsistence, Knowledge will not let you down. If you give up studies while addicted to enjoyment, you will in a couple of years be replaced by younger people. It will be too late to remedy the loss by studying again.

Some people say, “" when you have a job, you'll devote yourself to making a living. How

can you find time to study? Even if you want to study, will it be possible with no library or laboratory?"

Now let me tell you this. Those who refuse to study for lack of a library still fail to study even though there is a library. And those who refuse to do research because of the lack of laboratory won’t finish it even though there is a laboratory either. If you have made up your mind

to study a problem, you will of course try your best to buy books by spending less on the clothes or food, and try to buy the instruments as well.
