Unit8 Our dreams
第四课时
(Cartoon time & Checkout time)
一、设计意图:
本单元的话题都是谈论学生的理想,树立正确的价值观,并能为实现自己的理想而制定计划,并付诸行动。因此,教学主要从情感方面入手,结合学生的实际生活,说说自己的感受及努力方向。
二、目标要求:
1.能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能在教师的指导下复述、表演故事。 2.能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写scientist, artist;能听得懂、会说、会读dancer, pianist, brave, paint。
3.能熟练运用本单元所学的词句谈论梦想。
三、教学重点:
1.能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能在教师的指导下复述、表演故事。 2.能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写scientist, artist;能听得懂、会说、会读dancer, pianist, brave, paint。
3.能熟练运用本单元所学的词句谈论梦想。
四、教学难点:
掌握写作的技巧,多读,多说,多写。
五、教学过程: Step 1 Warm up 1.Sing a song.
出示Song time部分的图片,询问学生What’s his dream ? 引出He wants to be a teacher . 演唱歌曲《I’m a little teacher》 2.Free talk
T: What’s your dream? What do you want to be? What do you want to do?
To make your dream come true, what will you do?

3.Show the Learning aims.
Step 2 Cartoon time 1. T: Watch and choose a title
A. We all have a dream B. Bobby's dream
C. They all have a dream 2. Read and fill in the blanks.
Name Bobby Sam Willy Billy
Learn the words: artist、 scientist、 painting 3. Try to say the sentences.
eg. Bobby wants to be a scientist, he will read many books. 4. Reading time.
(1). Read Cartoon time loudly together. (2). Read by yourselves. (3). Try to recite Cartoon time.
Step3 Checkout time (Listen and choose) 1.T: Boys and girls, what about their dreams? ( PPT呈现checkout time 中的人物图片)
2. Ss look at the pictures and try to guess their dreams 3. Listen and choose. 4. Check the answer :
T: Whose guessing answers are right?
Step4 Think and say
T: Dream is good, but only the dream is not enough. What should we do to make our dreams come true? S: Study hard every day…
Step5 Checkout time (Think and write)
