一、Warm-up & Revision

(1)拿出上节课的单词卡片,让学生“开火车”来认读单词卡片。 (2)复习上节课所学句型,同桌二人快速问答。 二、Presentation & Practice
Let’s try
1.教师在课件上出示John和Wu Yifan的图片,询问学生:Who are they?并介绍听力活动的背景:John和Wu Yifan在谈论上周做的事情。请学生读出题目并尝试猜测答案,进行听前预测。
2.教师播放第一遍录音,学生回答课本上的问题。
3.教师播放第二遍录音,学生回答下列问题:①What is John going to do?②Why did John sleep all day?(答案:①He is going to meet Amy.②Because he had a cold.)
Let’s talk
1.教师首先询问学生一般情况下在周末做什么?然后用课件呈现已做事情的图片,询问学生:How was your weekend?并利用课件给学生一些提示,如:interesting,busy,happy,good,nice等。教师运用核心句型“Was it …?What did you do?Did you …?”与学生交流,帮助学生理解句子的语言环境与意义。

2.教师用课件呈现描述自己周末的两个关键词: My weekend Saturday busy Sunday interesting
教师请学生尝试用Was it …?或者Did you …?提问,教师来回答。师生对话示例如下: S:How was your Saturday? Was it busy? T:Yes,it was.
S:Did you read a book? T:Yes,I did.
3.教师先示例总结自己的周末活动,然后鼓励学生大胆尝试。
T:I was very busy last weekend. I did some housework. I … What about you,Lily? 4.学生六人一组,调查同组同学周末活动的情况,找出和自己有共同爱好的同伴。 5.教师请学生猜测John和Amy的周末活动,然后通过课件呈现本部分插图,提问学生:How was John’s weekend?
6.教师请学生带着问题观看动画获取信息,在此过程中帮助学生理解 magazine, better, faster等单词的意思。
7.教师第二次播放动画,提问学生:How was Amy’s weekend?What was the film magazine about?
8.教师播放课文录音,学生逐句跟读。(提醒学生在跟读的过程中注意模仿录音中的语音、语调)
9.全体学生齐读对话,教师纠正发音。 10.请部分学生分角色读对话。 三、Summing up
