形容词（副词）的最高级用法
一、定义：
当三个或三个以上的人或事物进行比较时，我们需要用到形容词（副词）的最高级。二、常用句型 （1）表达“…是…中最…的”,用“the+形容词（副词）的最高级”的结构，后面可以加上of、in短语，说明比较的范围
公式：主语+be动词+the +形容词（副词）最高级+（名词）+of、in短语或从句主语+实义动词+（the）+形容词（副词）最高级+of、in介词短语或从句 eg. He is the tallest (student) in our class.
He jumps the highest of the three boys.
This is the best book that I have ever read.
练习：Spring isseason of the year.（good） This park isof the three.（beautiful ）
拓展：1）of+复数”表示“在……之中的”；“在……中” of the four…… 在四个之中 of all（people） 在所有的人之中 of all the boys 在所有的男孩中 of us 在我们之中 of all things 在所有的事情当中2）in+范围、场所”译为“在……之中”；“在……之内” in the house 在家中 in China 在中国 in the world 在世界上 in our school 在我们学校 in my family 在我们家
（2）表示“最…的…中一个”，用“one of +the +最高级+复数名词”的结构来表达。 eg. He is one of the best students in our class.
他是我们班最好的学生之一。This is one of the most beautiful flowers in the garden. 这是花园里最漂亮的花之一。
练习：Our city is one ofin the world.我们城市是世界上最安全的城市之—.One of languages is
English.（important）最重要的语言之一是英语.
（3）用于三者或三者以上的比较。
疑问词+be+the+形容词最高级+甲,乙,丙? 疑问词+be+the+副词最高级+甲,乙,丙?
eg. Which country is the largest,China,Brazil or Canada?
哪个国家最大,中国,巴西还是加拿大?
Which season do you like (the) best,spring,summer or autumn?
你最喜欢哪一个季节,春天,夏天还是秋天?
练习：——Which is , the horse, the sheep or the elephant? 马、羊
和大象,哪一个最沉? ——The elephant（is）.大象.
（4）“the+序数词+ 形容词的最高级+名词” 意为“第几最的……”
eg. The Yellow River is the second largest river in China.
Is Shanghai the second largest city in China?
上海是中国的第二大城市吗？
练习：Tony is only shorter than Jim. He is __________ in his class. （tall）
三、注意事项

(1) 形容词的最高级前面有定冠词the , 而副词的最高级前面定冠词the可以省略。但形容词最高级前可以由物主代词、指示代词、名词所有格等修饰,此时不用定冠词the.
eg.：Yesterday is her happiest day in her life. （2）常见的用来表示范围的介词有in, of, among （3）比较级有时也表示最高级
than any other +可数名词单数（同一范围内）
than any +可数名词单数（不在同一范围内）
1、形容词或者副词的比较级 + anything/anyone else
all other+可数名词复数
any of the other+可数名词复数
Eg1 . The Yangtze River is longer than any other river in China.
=The Yangtze River is longer than any of the other rivers in China.长江比中国的任何一条其他的河都长。 =The Yangtze River is longer than the other rivers in China.长江比中国的其他所有的河都长。 =The Yangtze River is the longest river in China.长江是中国最长的河流。 Eg2.Mike gets to school earlier than any other student in his class.
= Mike gets to school earlier than any of the other students in his class.迈克比他们班上任何一个其他的同学到校都早。
= Mike gets to school earlier than the other students in his class.迈克比他们班上其他的同学到校都早。 = Mike gets to school earliest in his class.迈克在他们班到校最早。 2、……never +比较级/not ……ever+比较级，一般用于完成时中。
eg. I have never heard a better voice than yours.（同义句转换）
=Your voice is the best that I have ever heard.
3、nothing/nobody…比较级+than
eg.Nothing is more precious than time.
I think nothing is more pleasant than traveling.
