T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss :Hello, Miss Yu. T: Nice to meet you. S: Nice to meet you, too.

T : I can sing a song: Where are you going ?

Can you sing the song? Ss: Yes, I can. T :OK, now, let’s sing the song together.

T: today we’ll learn Unit 4 Free time. Saturday, Sunday are our free time, we can play in free time.

Step 2: Presentation:

1.learn the sentences: May I …? Yes ,you may ./ No,you may not . Talk about with your partner:May I …? Yes ,you may ./ No,you may not .

2.the new words:go to the zoo ,buy an ice cream , call my friend , borrow a book , watch TV , listen to a song.

1). T shows the picture of the zoo : what’s this in English? Go to the zoo . Teach the phase. T:Go to the zoo.May I go to the zoo ? 2). T shows the picture of buy an ice cream. Teach the word

3). learn the new word:call my friend. T: Now let’s play a game. I say and you do.

T: stand back to back. Stand arm in arm. Stand nose to nose. You are very good. But can you stand on your head? T show the picture : It’s very hard, I can’t stand on my head. Can you stand on your head. Ss answer : Yes, I can./ No, I can’t.

T: He can /can’t stand on his head. She can /can’t stand on her head. Make a chant: I can stand on my head. You can stand on your head. He can stand on his head. She can stand on her head.

2. learn the new words:borrow a book 1). T shows the picture of the book : Read the phase one by one.

3). T shows the picture of watch TV , teach the word. T: Today we have learned so many phrases, let’s read together. 4)teach the word : listen to music Step 3 :Practice. 1). Say a chant: 2) .Make a chant: 3) .Fill in the blank: 4).Listen , point and number.
