英语时间表达法(一)

英语时间通常用以下两种方式表达： 1．直接表达法： 1) 整点表达法：

用“基数词+o’clock”来表示整点，(o’clock要用单数)，当然“o’clock”也可省略不写。

例： 十一点钟： eleven o’clock 十二点钟： twelve o’clock 2) 非整点表达法：

用“基数词按钟点 + 分钟”的顺序直接写出时间。 (与整点表达法不同的是结尾无需加o’clock)

例： 九点十分： nine ten 八点四十分： eight forty 2．间接表达法

1) 用“分钟 ＋ past ＋ 钟点”来表示：(“past”是介词，意思是“过”) 条件：分钟数少于或等于30分。

例：七点二十分 twenty past seven 三点十二分： twelve past three

2) 用“(60分钟－原分钟数) ＋ to ＋ (原钟点数＋1)”来表示：(“to”是介词，意思是“差”)

条件：原分钟数大于30分。 例：二点五十分 ten to three 意思是三点差十分。(其中的分钟数ten是由60分减去原分钟数五十分

得到的，钟点数three是由原来的钟点数2加1得到的) 七点四十二分： eighteen to eight 注：

1．当分钟数为15时，可用 a quarter (一刻钟)表示。

如：十点十五分： a quarter past ten 三点四十五分： a quarter to four 当分钟数为30时，可用 half (半)表示。

如：五点三十分： half past five 一点半： half past one

(在直接表达法中，十五分钟不能用a quarter 表示，只能用基数词fifteen表示，三十分钟不能用half表示，只能用基数词thirty来表示) 2．若想表明所说时间是上午，只需在时间后加上am。 如：It’s six thirty am. (现在是早上六点三十分) 若想表达下午，只需在时间后加上pm。

如：It’s six thirty pm. (现在是下午六点三十分) 3．如果表达的时间不是很精确，可以时间前加about(大约) 如：It’s about seven o’clock (现在大约七点钟) 4．在时间前面应用介词“at”表示“在”

如：I go to school at seven ten. (我在七点十分上学)

英语时间表达法(二)

用英语表达时刻主要有以下两种方法： ?直接表示法（先时后分）。如： 9 ： 25 读作： nine twenty-five

12 ： 30 读作： twelve thirty ； twelve-thirty ?添加介词表示法（先分后时）。如： （ 1 ）表示“几点过几分”（在 30 分钟之内），用介词 past ，其结构是“分钟 +past+ 钟


点”。如：

5 ： 20 读作： twenty past five 11 ： 05 读作： five past eleven （ 2 ）表示“几点差几分”（相差在 30 分钟之内），用介词 to ，其结构是“分钟 +to+ 下一个钟点”。如：

2 ： 50 读作： ten to three 10 ： 58 读作： two to eleven

6 ： 37 读作： twenty-three to seven 另外需要注意的还有： （ 1 ）表示“几点整”，可以用数字直接表示，也可以加上 o'clock 。如： 1 ： 00 读作： one o'clock 20 ： 00 读作： twenty o'clock （ 2 ）表示“几点半”，用 half 。如： 4 ： 30 读作： half past four （ 3 ）表示“ 15 分钟”，常用 a quarter 。如： 10 ： 15 读作： a quarter past ten 2 ： 45 读作： a quarter to three （ 4 ）表示“在某一时刻”，应该用介词 at 。如： at five-five 在 5 点 5 分 at three o'clock 在 3 点整

（ 5 ）对时刻提问时，疑问词一般用 what time 。如：

— What time is it now ？现在几点钟？ — It's twelve fifteen. 12 点 15分。 请用英语以两种方法读出下列时间
