Module 5 Unit 1 Writing ----How to Write about Friendship

Learning Objectives学习目标

By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to:

1. master the adjectives needed to describe a friends good qualities and bad qualities; 2. master the useful sentence patterns to describe friendship; 3. write a short essay on friendship; 4. improve the writing skills.

Step I Lead-in

Thinking

Step II Presentation and Writing

1. Brainstorming

In this part, you need to think of as many adjectives of a friends good qualities and bad qualities as possible in a short time.

2. Discussion

A. Discuss in groups to describe a problem you had with a friend and give some advice on how to keep a friendship.

Write a short essay on friendship based on the information you got in this class, with about 120 words. ( within 10 minutes)
