Company’s future

With the development of the global demand for energy, many oil and gas companies are addicted to change into companies with diversified energy. Our company is facing the same problem, YJ is lack of sustainability of fossil fuels. YJ’s existing reserves from oil fields already in operation will last around seven more years and the new fields do not look like adding significantly to that figure (although more will be known once test drilling is completed) So, we must find out some new field or we must change our company to a new system, that is what I called Energy Diversification Company. In the last 25 years, we need to explore and product alternative and renewable energy which can cause lower carbon emissions, just like the hydrogen, biomass energy and the solar energy.

According to ExxonMobil (XOM)’s “Energy Outlook 2030”forcast, oil, gas and coal are still the main energy resource, it will take a part of 80%. Biomass energy and solar energy will increase at a high speed, it will increase at a percentage of 2. The alternative energy will play an important part in the future life.

The exploration of the hydrogen has been increasing now a days. Because we needed hydrogen during producing oil and gas in the past, so it is a great advantage for us to improve the technology. The Shell is a good example, it established a global platform to produce hydrogen, and they produce and consumption hydrogen for about 5milion tons. We can imitate The Shell, to improve the technology of producing hydrogen when the oil and gas field run dry.

What’s more, the wind and solar energy is also a good transformation direction for our company. As I know, the use of the wind and solar energy growth fast now a days. BP Company has established BP alternative energy company, in British Middlesex’s Sunbury. They will investment 800million dollar to this new company within 10 years.

In order to speed up the transformation of our company, I think we should first establish our subsidiary, just like YJ alternative energy company, and of course, we should investment about 50million into this company, because this is the only way our company can transform when the gas and oil field run dry.
