Nothing Succeeds Without a Strong Will

It is universally acknowledged that people cannot succeed or achieve their targets without a strong will and persistence. One of the most typical examples is that in present-day society, a growing number of people give up or fail to quit smoking just because of their poor willpower during the process. A variety of factors may account

for this phenomenon as follows.

For one thing, no one can deny the fact that persistence is the key point in accomplishing one’s task. It is of importance for people to stick to their original aim. A great number of dragsters would stop smoking a couple of days after they have made their determination, but only a few of them may succeed in the end. For another, the people who cannot quit smoking may easily be affected by his circumstance and surroundings. In that case, people

tend to fail to resist various temptations around them.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely come to the conclusion that only by concentrating on the

object and strong self-discipline can we obtain our goals successfully in the future.

Nothing succeeds without a strong will

As a humorous saying goes “ Quitting smoke is the easiest thing in the world, I have done it hundreds of

times”, it reminds me what a significant role a strong will plays in our life.

I firmly believe that “Where there is a will, there is a way”. In terms of the academic performance, a strong will exerts a great influence on student’s academic performances. A strong will of acquiring the knowledge and resisting the temptation of entertainment motivates students to try their best in order to pursue the academic excellence. When it comes to the musical mastery, it is well known that the key to acquiring proficiency in musical instrument is a strong will of repetition. For example, the famous pianist Lang Lang plays the piano from 5am

every day and practices over and over again.

Therefore, we can easily draw the conclusion that nothing succeeds without a strong will. I am convinced that for the individual himself, nothing is more important than his strong will and his determination to follow that.

We have spoken, written and discussed quite a lot on the relationship between iron will and success. Many people dream of becoming scientists, millionaires or superstars. However, without iron will, do you think they can succeed in making their dreams come true?

Beyond all doubt, iron will plays a key role in being successful. At the top of the list, there must be difficulties in the way toward success. Apparently, the iron will is a strong weapon for against difficulties. In addition, positive attitude is indispensable to success. It is the iron will that can provoke positive attitude.

To be successful, everyone needs to understand the close relationship between iron will and success. In one word, no an iron will today, no success tomorrow.
