My proudest experience

In my growing up experience, the thing I am most proud of is not that I got the first place in the school, nor how many honorary medals, nor learned to cook, but that I came to sick children alone to recite ancient poems and amuse them.

It was the summer when I was ten. I was admitted to the pediatric hospital because of acute tonsillitis. Infusion and injection all day long, my mood is naturally depressed. One afternoon, my mother went out and my ward was pushed away by a big sister. She is neither a nurse nor a staff member of the hospital. I can see her distinctive at a glance. She is thin and small, with beautiful and charming eyebrows and eyes, which is unforgettable. The beautiful elder sister was wearing a small green jacket and an orange felt hat. On the back of her clothes, there were words: Qingcheng Mountain Volunteer.

Before I could speak, she gently took my little hand and said, "Sister, will you take you out to play?"

I nodded and she led me to the corridor outside the hospital. I was shocked. There were a lot of children wearing thin patient clothes. The oldest was only eleven or twelve years old, and the youngest had just learned to walk. When they are together, they look like a big family with their heads down and concentrate on playing with blocks and toys. Their faces are lonely and lost.

The elder sister told me that they were all children suffering from leukemia, and the kind-hearted volunteer brothers and sisters would come
