应用文之倡议书
Step one: 写作思路
倡议书是公开提倡某种做法，倡导某项活动，鼓动别人响应的一种信函文书。
第一段：简要地写出倡议的目的，意义和有关背景
（让人们懂得“为什么”要去做所倡议的活
动。）
第二段：倡议的主要内容和具体措施，即写“做什么”和“怎么做”。
第三段：写倡议者的决心和希望。
（该部分应富于鼓舞性，最好提出一个能概括全文主旨的响亮、有力的口号）
Step two: 写作步骤
一、首段：倡议的目的及背景
1. Dear fellow students, I’m LiHua, president of Students’ Union.
亲爱的同学们，我是李华，学生会主席。 2. In order to assist people suffering novel
coronavirus, especially people in Wuhan, the Students’ Union of our school has decided to launch a donation program.
为了协助遭遇新冠疫情的人们尤其是武汉人民，我们学生会决定发起一个捐赠活动。
3. We appeal to all of us to actively donate money by means of Wechat transfer.

Step three: 篇章练习

As everyone can see, some resources are being wasted in our school. The lights are on during the day in some classrooms. Water taps are left running after washing. In the canteen, some students throw the food just because they don’t like it.
I think it is high time that we should stop wasting and live a low-carbon life because many people go hungry and energy crisis is getting worse in the world. So I make the following suggestions: First, let’s turn off the light and taps when we don’t use them. Second, we’d better eat up the food we buy. Besides, we should form the habit of recycling waste.
